Graduation @ Memorial
Attention Parents and Students:
We need your generous donations. Memorial Auditorium costs $4,500 to rent for our Senior Graduation Ceremony. The district no longer provides for this funding and it is now up to each individual school to raise their own money. The PTSA is trying to raise $1,500 of the needed amount.
Please donate any amount you desire. Make your check payable to “JFK-PTSA” and in the memo section, indicate “Memorial Auditorium”. PTSA has a box in the front office for your donation. The PTSA Board thanks you in advance for helping our Seniors graduate in this historic venue.

Yearbook Award 2012
The Leadership team received the following awards at the Yearbook Academy held at California State University East Bay on July 25 – 28, 2011
Outstanding Editorial Leadership: Monica Archuleta, Salim Penn, & Jessica Wu (top prize with 53 schools in the running!)
Visual, Verbal, and Concept design for the 2012 Yearbook Second Place School Theme Package: Kennedy High School
Outstanding Participation in the Advanced Yearbook Class: Andrew Bennett
Outstanding School Spirit and Participation: Monica Archuleta, Salim Penn, Jessica Wu, Amy Tam & Andrew Bennett

Kennedy wins ACE award again
ACE students lead by Dave Indreland received three awards May,6th at the Annual ACE (Architecture, Construction & Engineering) Awards presentation:
Kevin Ha - Team Leadership
Brian Wan - $1000 scholarship
And Team Kennedy won the "Best Overall Presentation" for the second year in a row.
Congratulations to Team Kennedy.
