This class is one of the best I ever took and never could regret it. Msgt has
taught all cadets lessons about life and he has inspired me to succeed in life
ROTC is hands down the greatest experience of my life so far. It gives you a sense of pride you wont get from walking around a track in P.E. and MSgt is freaking awesome he's 100 % the real deal. NO WHERE will you ever find a greater teacher.

MSgt has helped to shape not only myself, but many of the students who are lucky enough to have him as a teacher. He teaches you life lessons and he's tough on you, but only because he seriously cares. The best class I have ever taken.
MCJROTC is my greatest high school memory. i loved the family environment and the life lessons taught and learned. i am very proud to had been a part of it and can honestly say it helped me become the person i am today.
The program wasn't only challenging physically but mentally as well behind every thing we did msgt tried to teach us to be strong in every way possible and I'm grateful to him for that he helped me be the most disciplined adult I am today

Msgt Miranda really helped me become a better person. He not only teaches what the lesson plans are, but also life lesson on how to become a better individual.
Being one of the founding students of the Marine JROTC program at JFK in 1986, I can say that the experience helped me achieve my goals in both education and in my military career. There is no commitment for a student to join the Marines (or any other branch of service) by attending the course and the skill sets instructed (discipline, strong work ethic, integrity, team work, community involvement, and mentorship) are usable and marketable upon graduation. It provided me an opportunity and reason to stay committed to my class work and strive for academic achievement. I can also say, without a doubt, that the program is the reason I have had such a successful and rewarding career in the Air Force. Hats off to the program as they approach a quarter century of producing leaders.
Sincerely,
