Um. I'm in band for the 8th grade but then for the 9th grade I want to be in the orchestra and play the violin.

Just do it! Kennedy has one of the best music teachers in the business. You will have a great time playing with some of the finest musicians. Competition is fierce, but the close companionship and the willingness for teamwork make us one of the best. We have won "The Best of Sacramento" two years in a row, marched in the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Disneyland. I think though the best thing is being able to hang out with kids with your same interest, and abilities. It sort of becomes an extended family. We have a lot of fun, but we work hard TOGETHER. You will share the ups and downs TOGETHER. I hope you choose to join the JFK Marching Band, It will be one of the best adventures of your life.
