JFK Parent Center
The JFK parent center is a resource center for students and parents seeking information about services offered on campus and in the community.
We have an open door policy for students and parents and we encourage everyone to utilize the parent center as a “one stop” shop to address their questions or concerns regarding academic and personal issues.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- assisting families with personal and school related issues that impact academic achievement.
- make initial assessment and refer families to the appropriate community or campus resources to meet their needs.
- serve as an interpreter for Spanish speaking families for conferences, SST’s and IEP’s.
- plan and organize informational meetings for parents.

Social Services Office
JFK offers support services for Kennedy students and families who need social emotional support.
We have some new people joining us the year to work with our students. Our new social work interns are Grace Chinn and Elinora Williams who are here 2 days a week.
We are also joined by Curtis Buzanski from the Panacea program who is working along side Lindsey Tooker to provide group services for drug/alcohol and anger management. Their work days are listed on the Social Service website.
Our nurse, Alexis Koren is only on campus on Thursdays and available for consultation only.
