AP can change your life. Through college-level AP courses, you enter a universe of knowledge that might otherwise remain unexplored in high school; through AP Exams, you have the opportunity to earn credit or advanced standing at most of the nation's colleges and universities.

Advanced Placement (AP) Exams
- WHAT
- At the conclusion of an AP course, students have the opportunity to take the corresponding AP Exam. AP Exams are two to three-hour exams, given in May, made up of multiple-choice and free-response (essay) questions. They are graded on a scale of 1 to 5, with 3 considered a "qualifying" score.
- WHERE
- AP Exams will be held on campus. (John F. Kennedy High School)
- WHEN
- May 4th to May 15th during the school day. Specific test date information is on line at collegeboard.com
- WHO
- Any student prepared to attempt any of the exams.

Advanced Placement Contract
Students will not be enrolled in AP Courses without a signed contract by both parent/guardian and student.
